Michigan Sour Cherries
Severe spring frosts have caused our Michigan cherry-growing partners to lose approximately 90% of this year’s crop. As a result, IQF cherries will not be available this season, and prices for fresh cherry buckets have increased significantly. We apologize for the increase and want to assure you that we are keeping our margins as low as possible to offer the best price we can.
Because of the limited crop and higher costs, payment will be required at the time of ordering to help reduce no-shows and potential losses.

The 10lb and 30lb buckets are freshly picked, pitted sour cherries from Michigan. They come in a bucket of their own juice with no sugar or other additives. These cherries are wonderful for jam, pies, baking or even just snacking! We like to use them for baking and jam, but also to top oatmeal, in smoothies, on yogurt, you really can’t go wrong.
The 10lb bucket ends up to be around 5-6 quarts of cherries making 5-6 pies depending on how deep of a pie you prefer.
Fresh Tart Cherry Juice
Tart cherry juice concentrate is available all year in the Apple Castle market. Many of our customers claim that great health benefits have been achieved by regularly drinking cherry juice. (i.e. – relief from arthritis and gout)
